Southwestern Region

The Southwestern region is the only area in the United States where you can stand in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah at the same time! This desert region is hot. With a hot climate, water is scare. The Hoover Dam is a very important source for this area. Many people live in this hot, desert region and the culture has influence from early Spanish settlers and Native American tribes. You will find beautiful pottery, hand-woven fabrics, and beautiful, ornate stucco homes with tile floors.
